1. People are illogical, unreasonable, and self-centered.

   Love them anyway.

2. 착한 일을 하면 다른 속셈이 있어서 한다고 비난하는 사람들이 있다.

   그래도 선을 행하라.

2. If you do good, people will accuse you of selfish ulterior motives.

   Do good anyway.

3. 당신이 성공을 하면 그릇된 친구와 원수도 생길지 모른다.

   그래도 성공하라.

3. If you are successful, you will win false friends and true enemies.

   Succeed anyway.

4. 오늘 좋은 일을 해도 내일이면 허사가 될 수 있다.

   그래도 좋은 일을 하라.

4. The good you do today will be forgotten tomorrow.

5. 정직하고 솔직하면 불이익을 당하거나 불리한 위치에 놓일 수도 있다.

   그래도 언제나 정직하고 솔직하라.

5. Honesty and frankness make you vulnerable.

   Be honest and frank anyway.

6. 대의를 품은 이가 졸장부에 의해 넘어질 수도 있다.

   그래도 생각을 크게 하라.

6. The biggest men and women with the biggest ideas can be shot down by the  smallest men and women with the smallest minds.

   Think big anyway.

7. 세상 사람들은 약자를 선호하면서도 오로지 강자만을 따른다.

   그래도 소수의 약자들을 위해 투쟁하라.

7. People favor underdogs but follow only top dogs.

   Fight for a few underdogs anyway.

8. 오랫동안 공들여 쌓아 올린 탑이 하룻밤 사이에 무너질 수도 있다.

8. What you spend years building may be destroyed overnight.

   Build anyway.

9. 도움이 필요한 사람들에게 도움을 주고도 공격을 받을 수 있다.

9. People really need help but may attack you if you do help them.

   Help people anyway.

10. 당신이 가진 가장 좋은 것을 세상에 주고도 발로 차일 수도 있다.

   그래도 당신이 가진 가장 값진 것을 세상에 주라.

10. Give the world the best you have and you'll get kicked in the teeth.

    Give the world the best you have anyway.
